Ethiopia Reko

Ruby Coffee Roasters has sourced coffee from the Reko community in Kochere, Ethiopia, for 11 years. Reko is exemplary of Yirgacheffe’s terroir—floral, soft, sweet, and fruit-forward, with bright citrus notes.

Local heirloom landraces, including Kurume, contribute intense aromatics, while the region’s unique microclimate and iron-rich soils shape its distinctive character. Ruby carefully roasts this coffee to bring these qualities forward while preserving the honey sweetness and rounded body that we love.
